TONGALA Bowling Club will look to continue this late run of form going into this weekend’s Campaspe Valley Bowls Grand Final.

Taking on Moama at Echuca Bowling Club this weekend will be Tonny’s biggest hurdle, but you ask club coach Sam Lyon about the game and nothing but excitement and passion seems to have engulfed the small town country club.

"Knowing that making finals gave our club a great chance at going all the way, the club, especially after the influx of our new members, have rallied around the div 1 boys in a way the club has never seen before".

Lyon went on to sayknowing the confidence of the Moama team would only assist his team with getting over the line.

"We know that Moama is a confident club, we also know that, with last week off, they are looking forward to playing the state pennant finals on their home turf. Well they were also looking forward to a rematch with Echuca in the final and we stopped that from happening, we are just taking it week by week and making sure that we make it as hard as possible for our opponents each week, and this Saturday is definitley no exception".

What is sure to be a well spectated match, the normally excited Moama crowd will be in full voice again, but Lyon felt confident of not only matching Moama on the greens, but off it aswell.

Our supporters, especially during the finals, have been the loudest going around. And with a bus load leaving the club on Saturday we feel that the noise from both sides will be something people would never have experienced before"
